From January 21–25 in Jakarta, Perfect Corp. partnered with Make Over, the flagship makeup brand of ParagonCorp, to showcase its latest AI- and AR-driven beauty personalization platform at Beauty Science & Technology 2026. Leveraging its Skin Analysis API, the company delivered real‐time complexion diagnostics to over 3,000 professional attendees, enabling customized foundation, lipstick and skincare recommendations. In live demos, users experienced sub‐millimeter AR overlays that adjusted to ambient lighting, highlighting Perfect Corp.’s leadership in scalable, science‐backed beauty tech solutions for both retail and professional environments.
2. YouCam Perfect Rolls Out AI Red Envelopes for Lunar New Year
Ahead of the Lunar New Year, Perfect Corp. launched an AI-powered red envelope design feature within its YouCam Perfect app, in partnership with ibon Cloud Printing. Users can now craft personalized envelopes and couplets—featuring playful phrases like “Get Rich” and “Instant Prosperity”—and print instantly at over 7,000 7-ELEVEN kiosks across Taiwan. During the promotion through February 8, ibon is offering 800 free prints daily. Early data shows a 45% week-over-week increase in envelope designs, with pet and child photo integration accounting for 60% of customizations.
3. Valentine’s Day Drives Engagement with Generative AI Experiences
For Valentine’s Day 2026, Perfect Corp. activated more than 70 themed filters and generative AI tools across its YouCam Makeup, YouCam Perfect, YouCam Video and YouCam AI Pro apps. The campaign delivered curated makeup looks, romantic AR backgrounds and personalized video messages. In the first 48 hours, the company recorded a 30% surge in daily active users and a 25% uptick in in-app purchases of premium AR packs. CEO Alice Chang reported that usage of the AI Portrait Generator doubled compared to last year’s Valentine’s event, underscoring the strong consumer appetite for creative, shareable beauty content.
