Perma-Fix won a master IDIQ subcontract from Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure for grouting and disposing of pretreated liquid mixed low-level waste.
- Contract effective Aug. 11, 2026; task orders can be issued Jan. 1, 2027 to Dec. 31, 2041.
- Program ceiling totals 50,000,000 gallons valued up to $4.37 billion, shared across all awardees; no volumes awarded yet.
- Work to be performed at Perma-Fix Northwest in Richland, Washington; treated waste slated for disposal outside Washington.
- Requires capacity to treat and dispose of 100,800 gallons per week, subject to licensing and permit conditions.
