Perspective Therapeutics reports 75% disease control rate at 3.0 mCi dose in melanoma trial
CATX•Perspective Therapeutics reported a 75% disease control rate at a 3.0 mCi dose in an interim melanoma trial update. Among 20 heavily pretreated patients, no treatment-related serious adverse events or adverse event-related treatment discontinuations were reported.
1. Interim trial results
Perspective Therapeutics presented interim Phase 1/2a results for lapemelanotide zapixetar (VMT01) in heavily pretreated advanced melanoma patients. The investigational monotherapy produced partial tumor responses and sustained disease stabilization in some patients. Through the September 18, 2026, data cutoff, no dose-limiting toxicities were reported among 20 patients; severe adverse events were considered unrelated to treatment. The company said continued evaluation and dose optimization will inform the program’s next development steps.
