PetMeds names Jeff Willard CEO, president effective Sept. 28

PetMed Express named Jeff Willard CEO, president and board member effective Sept. 28, replacing interim CEO Leslie C.G. Campbell.

• Willard most recently led Stewart-MacDonald as CEO and previously served as Casper chief growth officer and chief marketing officer.
• Campbell will retire as board chair and step down from the board effective Sept. 28, then shift to a full-time strategic adviser role for 60 days.
• Lead independent director Justin Mennen, who is chief information and technology officer at Shake Shack, will become board chair effective Sept. 28.
• Peter Batushansky will chair the corporate governance and nominating committee effective Sept. 28, succeeding Mennen.
