Petrobras identified hydrocarbons in the Morpho exploratory well in the FZA-M-59 block offshore Amapá, in Brazil’s Foz do Amazonas basin.
The well sits about 175 km from shore in 2,886 meters of water, targeting an ultra-deepwater frontier play.
