PetVivo renames human health unit Cosmeta to Somatrix Technologies
PETV•Human health subsidiary gets a new name
PetVivo Holdings renamed its human health subsidiary Cosmeta to Somatrix Technologies as it expands into human health innovation.
Somatrix will serve as a dedicated R&D platform for biomaterial technologies, leveraging PetVivo’s intellectual property and research capabilities. Work will target next-generation biocompatible materials for tissue and bone repair, regenerative applications, and targeted therapeutic delivery.
PetVivo’s veterinary unit will keep its focus on animal health commercialization while Somatrix advances human-focused development programs. Somatrix programs remain in development stages, with product candidates subject to further testing and regulatory requirements.
