Pfizer beats quarterly profit estimates on strong demand for blood thinner Eliquis

Aug. 4 (Reuters) - Pfizer beat Wall Street estimates for second-quarter profit on Tuesday, driven by strong demand for its blood thinner, Eliquis.
On an adjusted basis, the company reported a profit of 77 cents per share, compared with analysts' estimates of 68 cents per share, according to data compiled by LSEG.
