Pfizer says Q2 2026 results beat expectations on non-COVID brand growth and cost discipline
PFE•Full-year guidance raised
Pfizer raised the midpoint of its full-year revenue guidance by USD 0.5 billion to USD 60.5 billion to USD 62.5 billion.
The company also cut its COVID revenue view to about USD 4 billion.
Q2 results topped expectations
Pfizer said its second-quarter 2026 results beat expectations, with revenue of USD 15 billion, up 1% operationally. Excluding COVID products, underlying revenue rose 5%.
Adjusted diluted EPS was USD 0.77, beating internal expectations. Management cited cost discipline and productivity gains despite higher Phase 3 activity.
Growth in launched and acquired products
Launched and acquired products generated USD 3.2 billion of revenue, up 18% operationally. Pfizer said growth was tempered by prior-year one-time items.
Performance was driven mainly by Eliquis, Padcev, the Vyndaqel family, and Lorbrena. The company also cited AI as supporting commercial execution and manufacturing yields.
