PG&E Q2 FY26 profit attributable to common shareholders rises 41% to $733 million

PG&E reports higher quarterly profit and income
PG&E posted earnings attributable to common shareholders of USD 733 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, up 41%.
Utility net income rose 36% to USD 831 million, while operating income increased 15% to USD 1.26 billion.
Revenue was flat as electricity and wildfire costs rose
Revenue was flat at USD 5.9 billion, while cost of electricity climbed 34% to USD 800 million.
Wildfire Fund expense rose 16% to USD 126 million, driven by accelerated amortization tied to SCE’s Eaton Fire Wildfire Fund disclosure.
