Philips launched the five-year EXIT-CVD cardiovascular research project, which has a total budget of EUR 27.6 million. Co-led by University Medical Center Groningen, the project is co-funded by the EU Innovative Health Initiative and industry partners. The consortium will conduct 22 clinical studies involving more than 14,000 patients, and enrollment begins this month.
