Philips wins up to US$33.7 million ARPA-H award for AI-enabled robotic stroke care

The effort will build on Philips' Azurion image-guided therapy platform to support remote intervention, with the aim of expanding access beyond major stroke centers.

Philips won up to USD 33.7 million from ARPA-H to develop AI-enabled robotic automation for stroke thrombectomy care.
The work will focus on remote-assisted, increasingly automated endovascular procedures intended to support stroke treatment.
