Phillips 66 and Kinder Morgan extended the Western Gateway Pipeline’s second open season to April 15 at noon CT, adding receipt points and Los Angeles deliveries via the SFPP Watson-to-Colton line. This extension gives shippers additional time to review updated rates and secure approvals for remaining capacity.

Phillips 66 and Kinder Morgan have pushed the second open season for the Western Gateway Pipeline until April 15 at noon Central Time following significant December commitments. The extension adds new receipt points and delivery into the Los Angeles market via the SFPP Watson-to-Colton line to accommodate refined products.

2. Shipper Implications

Prospective shippers now have extra time to evaluate the revised Transportation Services Agreement rates and obtain internal approvals. Remaining capacity on the Western Gateway system will be allocated based on commitments received during this extended bidding period.
