Phinia publishes 2025 sustainability report, cites 35% drop in Scope 1-2 emissions intensity in 2025

Phinia published its 2025 Sustainability Report, citing progress across environmental, social, and governance priorities.

• Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions intensity fell 35% versus 2024, supporting a 50% absolute reduction target by 2030 from 2020.
• About 85% of R&D spending went to lower-carbon or zero-carbon technologies, including certified hydrogen internal combustion engine retrofit technology.
• Core material reuse rose to 63% at its largest remanufacturing facility, up from 52% in 2024; 93% of remaining material was recycled.
• First independent verification completed for Scope 1, 2, and 3 Category 15 emissions; an enterprise-wide double materiality assessment was completed.
