Spot silver tumbled 15% to $98.66/oz and spot gold dropped 7% to $5,009.46 on Friday, with silver futures down 11% and gold futures off 5.5%. Platinum and palladium also fell over 12%, pulling physical metals ETFs down despite 2025 gains of 150% for silver and 65% for gold.
