Pilgrim's Pride publishes sustainability disclosure report
PPC•Pilgrim's Pride reported a 3% decline in Scope 1 and market-based Scope 2 emissions in its 2025 sustainability report, while total waste rose 45% to 436,423 metric tons.
1. Emissions and resource use
Combined Scope 1 and market-based Scope 2 emissions totaled 1,522,747 metric tons of CO2 equivalent, and emissions intensity fell 1%. Total energy use rose 2%, while renewable energy's share declined to 9% from 10%. Water withdrawal increased 1%, water intensity rose 6%, and total waste climbed 45% to 436,423 metric tons.
