Pinnacle West posted net income attributable to common shareholders of $179 million in the June 30, 2026 quarter, down 7.25%.
Revenue rose 7.14% to $1.46 billion, while fuel and purchased power costs climbed 16.98% to $558 million.
Interest charges, net of allowance for borrowed funds used during construction, increased 19.61% to $122 million; depreciation and amortization rose 6.11% to $243 million.
Results reflected higher interest charges and depreciation, partially offset by favorable weather, increased customer usage, customer growth, and lower income taxes.
APS generation and pipeline plans
APS projects a new natural gas pipeline to enter service by late 2029, plans to convert two Cholla units to gas for about 380 MW by 2029, and is pursuing up to 2,000 MW of flexible gas generation.
