Pinterest Q2 FY26 turns to GAAP net loss of $47 million; revenue climbs 18% to $1.18 billion

Q2 revenue and user growth
Pinterest reported Q2 revenue of USD 1.18 billion, up 18% year over year, as global monthly active users climbed 11% to 640 million.
GAAP results swung to a net loss of USD 47 million from a profit a year earlier, while adjusted EBITDA rose 24% to USD 311.31 million.
Cash flow, buybacks and AI-driven momentum
Free cash flow increased 37% to USD 269.93 million, and year-to-date share repurchases topped USD 2 billion at an average price of USD 18.17.
CEO Bill Ready said AI is accelerating momentum by making Pinterest more personalized and actionable for users while improving performance for advertisers.
