Pitfield Flotation Tests Yield Over 34% TiO2 Grades with 70% Recovery

EMLAFEMLAF

Empire Metals reports whole-of-ore flotation tests at its Pitfield project returned concentrate grades above 34% TiO2 with approximately 70% recovery, while gangue rejection improved separation flowsheet efficiency. Key development milestones including flotation testing and resource definition are nearing completion, positioning the company to initiate metallurgical piloting test work.

1. Flotation Testing Validates High-Grade Titanium Concentrate

Empire Metals Limited (OTCQX: EPMLF) reported that recent flotation test work on Pitfield ore confirmed selective recovery of titanium minerals with effective gangue rejection. Whole‐of‐ore flotation delivered concentrate grades exceeding 34% TiO2 while achieving recoveries near 70%. These results validate the simplified separation flowsheet and underscore the potential to produce a saleable titanium feedstock suitable for further processing.

2. Key Development Milestones Near Completion Ahead of Metallurgical Piloting

The company has advanced multiple workstreams on its Pitfield titanium project in Western Australia, with detailed engineering for ore handling and flotation circuits now over 80% complete. Detailed geometallurgical modeling has been finalized, supporting the design of a scaled pilot plant set to commence metallurgical test work in Q2 2026. Site access agreements and environmental approvals for the pilot testing phase have also been secured, positioning Empire Metals to transition from bench‐scale validation to demonstration‐scale operations.
