XLU•PJM extended its capacity advisory through Wednesday, Oct. 14, citing expected tight system conditions from warm fall weather and maintenance and construction outages. Generation outages are expected to total approximately 60,000 MW on Monday.
PJM extended a capacity advisory originally covering Monday and Tuesday to include Wednesday, Oct. 14, and recalled or canceled transmission and generation outages to the extent possible. The measures include recalling all active generation maintenance outage tickets in the region it serves until noon on Oct. 14; generation outages are expected to be approximately 60,000 MW on Monday.
