Planet Green enters lactoferrin sourcing and distribution business to target China market

Planet Green entered commercial operations to source, market, and distribute lactoferrin for health products, targeting Chinese demand.

The company plans to add a Chief Scientist role to accelerate scientific investments, joint ventures, and product launches. It said it is in advanced talks with a U.S. academic candidate for the position.

China represents 22% of an estimated $300 million global lactoferrin market, and demand is forecast to top $500 million globally.
