On February 12, Planet Labs’ Berlin-based subsidiary signed a deal with AXA Digital Commercial Platform to integrate its daily satellite imagery into AXA DCP’s AI system for real-time disaster monitoring. The company formed European and Defense & Intelligence advisory boards in Munich, contributing to its 21% year-to-date return.

On February 12, Planet Labs GmbH teamed with AXA Digital Commercial Platform to feed its daily satellite imagery and basecamp data into AXA DCP’s AI-powered platform, enabling real-time detection and response to natural disasters.

2. Advisory Boards Formation

During the 2026 Munich Security Conference, Planet Labs announced two new advisory bodies—European Advisory Board and Defense & Intelligence Advisory Board—composed of government, diplomatic and defense experts to strengthen national security collaborations.

3. Stock Performance

Planet Labs shares have surged 21% year-to-date as of February 20, driven by growing demand for environmental intelligence and expanded partnerships in Europe and defense sectors.
