Plus Therapeutics partners with Genomic Testing Cooperative to add NGS to CNSide CSF assay platform
PSTV•Regulatory and clinical context
The move aligns CNSide with updated NCCN CNS Cancers Guidelines that recognize CSF tumor cells alongside tumor-derived DNA in CSF analysis.
CNSide test received AMA PLA code 0640U effective July 1, 2026; the CNSide CLIA lab is enrolled with Medicare.
The company said the platform targets leptomeningeal metastases, estimated at 5%-10% of metastatic solid tumors, representing more than 100,000 U.S. patients annually.
Partnership adds next-generation sequencing to CNSide
Plus Therapeutics entered a collaboration with Genomic Testing Cooperative to add next-generation sequencing to the CNSide cerebrospinal fluid assay platform.
The deal aims to enable DNA and RNA profiling across hundreds of biomarkers from a single CSF sample, expanding CNSide beyond tumor cell enumeration.
