On April 7, 2026, Pony.ai secured regulatory approval to begin by-invite autonomous rides in Singapore, representing the final operational phase before opening to the general public.

The trial operates on a 12-kilometre loop through Punggol Northshore and Waterway Sunrise, connecting residents to Oasis Terraces, Punggol Plaza, One Punggol, Punggol Coast Mall and the Punggol Coast MRT station, with rides shaving up to 15 minutes off current transport times.

This deployment, done in partnership with ComfortDelGro, advances Pony.ai’s dual-engine strategy by leveraging its proven Robotaxi unit economics in China and applying that model to international markets.
