POSCO Future M signs KRW 1.1 trillion LFP cathode supply deal with SK On
PKX•POSCO Future M signed an LFP cathode materials supply contract with SK On worth about KRW 1.1 trillion, covering 2027-2029 with an option to extend by two years by mutual agreement.
1. Supply agreement
The contract is POSCO Future M’s first cathode-material supply deal with SK On and expands an existing anode-materials relationship. POSCO Future M has converted part of its Pohang high-nickel cathode lines to LFP and is targeting mass-production supply from the end of 2026.
