POSCO International secured the highest Authorized Economic Operator rating, AAA, upgrading from AA. The upgrade raises exemptions from cargo inspections and document-submission screening to 100% from 70% for roughly 40,000 annual customs clearances. Customs and logistics benefits also apply in 25 countries with mutual recognition agreements, including the US, Japan and China.
