PowerBank elevated Andrew van Doorn to President while he retains his Chief Operating Officer role, tasking him with guiding operational and growth strategies. Van Doorn brings 28 years of executive leadership in engineering and construction across renewable energy and utility sectors.
2. Renewable Energy Credentials
He has overseen completion of over 200 MW of solar projects, including 32 MW community arrays in Minnesota, 28 MW in New York and 140 MW of rooftop installations across 600 Ontario sites. His deep technical knowledge spans battery energy storage systems, utility-scale electrical infrastructure and grid interconnections.
3. ATM Equity Distribution Agreement
The company entered an at-the-market equity distribution agreement enabling issuance of up to $50 million in common shares from treasury. Net proceeds will support PowerBank’s 1 GW renewable project pipeline, working capital needs, debt repayments and potential acquisitions.
