PPG•PPG will invest $70 million to expand its aerospace transparencies operations in Huntsville, Alabama, including a new 112,000-square-foot facility to support increased production capacity.
1. Huntsville expansion
The plan includes leasing and building out a 112,000-square-foot facility to move production support functions offsite. The move is set to free manufacturing space at the existing site, lifting capacity for cockpit and passenger windows, as part of a multiyear program aimed at supporting growth in PPG’s aerospace transparencies business.
