Precipitate Gold Starts 4-Hole 2,000m Drill Program at Pueblo Grande
Precipitate Gold has begun a four-hole diamond drill campaign totaling approximately 2,000 metres at its Pueblo Grande Project, targeting a cluster of induced polarization chargeability-high anomalies adjacent to an existing world-class mining operation. The drill program, using Energold Drilling’s rig, is expected to run 8–12 weeks with assay results forthcoming.
1. Drill Program Details
Precipitate Gold has commenced diamond drilling at the Pueblo Grande Norte zone with Energold Drilling’s rig, aiming to complete four holes each averaging 450 metres for a total of approximately 2,000 metres. The selected rig is optimized for the anticipated hole depths and regional ground conditions, leveraging Energold’s prior operational experience in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean.
2. Target Anomalies and Geophysics
The campaign will test a newly identified cluster of induced polarization chargeability-high anomalies delineated through historical data review and follow-up IP surveying conducted late last year. These anomalies lie immediately adjacent to a world-class mining operation, presenting a high-potential exploration opportunity for significant gold mineralization.
3. Project Location and Significance
The Pueblo Grande Project is 100% owned by Precipitate Gold and sits next to the Pueblo Viejo mine operated by Barrick Mining, offering strategic proximity to established infrastructure and regional expertise. This location enhances the project’s attractiveness and could accelerate resource development if drilling confirms meaningful gold concentrations.
4. Timeline and Next Steps
The drill program is scheduled to run for approximately 8 to 12 weeks, with assays to be reported as they become available. All technical information has been reviewed by the company’s Qualified Person, ensuring compliance with disclosure standards and verifying sampling and analytical data integrity.
