Carnival’s Princess Cruises schedules 96 departures across 61 itineraries in Asia for 2027–28, including 41 Japan destinations and two ships homeporting in Tokyo for the full 2028 summer season. 1. Largest Asia Deployment Ever

Princess Cruises will operate its most expansive Asia program with 96 sailings across 61 itineraries visiting 55 destinations in nine countries during the 2027–28 season, reflecting a significant ramp-up in capacity and market reach for Carnival’s Asia segment.

2. Record Japan 2028 Season

The 2028 Japan deployment features 85 departures over 52 itineraries, with Diamond Princess and Sapphire Princess homeporting in Tokyo for the first time and offering late-night stays at six ports timed to major summer festivals.

3. Expanded Southeast Asia Voyages

Complementing Japan, the Southeast Asia program includes 11 departures across nine itineraries, offering voyages up to 28 days and visits to 29 ports across nine countries, with overnight and late-night calls at key cultural hubs.
