Profusa dismissed CBIZ CPAs on Oct. 5, 2026, and hired WithumSmith+Brown for fiscal 2026. CBIZ’s 2025 audit opinion included a going-concern warning about Profusa’s ability to continue operations. Profusa reported unremediated weaknesses in segregation of duties and technical accounting as of June 30, 2026, and said it had no accounting disputes with CBIZ across 2024–2025 or the interim period through the auditor change.
