Protara completes enrollment in Phase 2b portion of IV Choline Chloride trial

Protara Therapeutics completed enrollment of 24 patients in the Phase 2b dose-confirmation portion of its THRIVE-3 trial of IV Choline Chloride, which targets choline deficiency in patients with intestinal failure who depend on parenteral support.
2. Next trial stages
Interim Phase 2b results are expected in the fourth quarter of 2026 and will guide dose selection. The randomized, placebo-controlled Phase 3 portion will enroll approximately 100 patients and evaluate improvement in plasma choline levels and safety.
