Provident Financial appointed CEO Donavon P. Ternes to the boards of the company and Provident Savings Bank effective July 23, 2026.
Ternes joined the bank in 2000 as senior vice president and CFO, later serving as chief operating officer and corporate secretary.
The board appointment fills a vacancy left by director William E. Thomas, who died in April 2026.
Michael S. Van Stockum was named senior vice president and chief lending officer effective July 23, 2026.
Van Stockum joined in 2007, most recently serving as vice president, commercial real estate loan administrator, and Community Reinvestment Act officer.
