Proxy advisers back Genesco directors, reject Radoff-led activist push ahead of July 21 vote
GCO•Proxy advisers back Genesco board ahead of annual meeting
Proxy advisers are backing Genesco directors ahead of the company’s July 21, 2026 annual meeting, with all three major proxy advisers supporting management’s slate.
ISS, Glass Lewis and Egan-Jones recommended that shareholders vote for all nine board nominees on the company’s white card.
Glass Lewis said dissident Bradley Radoff failed to present a comprehensive case for change or a credible alternative plan.
Egan-Jones cited improving fundamentals, recovering cash flow, modest profitability gains, early Journeys progress and strong one-year TSR.
