Prudential FY26 Q2 net income rises to $985 million; assets under management increase to $1.64 trillion

Prudential Financial posted Q2 2026 net income attributable to shareholders of $985 million, up from $533 million a year earlier.
After-tax adjusted operating income (non-GAAP) rose to $1.44 billion, reflecting a $51 million assumption-update benefit versus a $36 million charge.
Book value, assets under management and capital returned
Book value per share increased to $90.50; adjusted book value per share climbed to $100.91.
Assets under management grew to $1.64 trillion; parent company highly liquid assets rose to $4.2 billion.
Capital returned totaled $743 million, including $250 million of share repurchases and $493 million of dividends.
