Japan’s FSA extended Prudential of Japan’s ban on soliciting new business through Jan. 31, 2027. Gibraltar Life faces a partial suspension through that date, limited to its Life Consultant channel.
2. Plans due in November
Prudential Holdings of Japan, Prudential of Japan and Gibraltar must file business improvement plans by the end of November 2026. Prudential Financial said the FSA actions do not apply to other Japan units, including Prudential Gibraltar Financial Life, and said Prudential of Japan and Gibraltar remain financially sound and able to meet obligations.
