PTTEP and partners sign farm-out deals for Malaysia’s Lang Lebah, B14 gas fields
TTE•PTTEP signed farm-out agreements for Malaysia’s Lang Lebah and B14 offshore gas fields, which have estimated combined resources exceeding 6,500 billion cubic feet. TotalEnergies will operate both fields, subject to approval from Malaysia Petroleum Management.
1. Field ownership stakes
TotalEnergies will operate both fields with a 30% stake in each. PTTEP and KUFPEC will each hold 25%, while PETRONAS Carigali will hold the remaining 20% in each field, subject to transaction approval from Malaysia Petroleum Management. The fields lie about 14 kilometers apart, and integrated development would allow shared infrastructure.
