MOSCOW, Sept 8 (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump had a "constructive and frank" hour-long telephone call during which Trump stressed his wish for the war in Ukraine to end as soon as possible, a Kremlin aide said on Tuesday.
The aide, Yuri Ushakov, told reporters that the pair had discussed the outcome of U.S. peace negotiators' recent visit to Moscow and Kyiv and said that Putin had told Trump what the U.S. could do to help end the conflict.
