Pyxis Oncology Q2 FY26 net loss widens to $25.3 million

Pyxis Oncology posted a GAAP net loss of $25.3 million, or $0.40 a share, for Q2 2026.
- R&D expense edged down to $16.1 million; manufacturing costs fell, partly offset by higher MICVO trial and preclinical spending.
- G&A expense climbed to $9.9 million on higher severance costs and stock-based compensation.
Upcoming MICVO updates
Pyxis said a MICVO monotherapy update in 2L+ R/M HNSCC is due in Fall 2026. The MICVO-Keytruda combination update is targeted for Q4 2026.
Cash position and runway
Cash, restricted cash, and short-term investments totaled $34.5 million at June 30. Upfront private placement proceeds extended runway into Q2 2027.
