Quarterly revenue declines on pricing and shipment timing
Pyxus International said fiscal first-quarter revenue declined year over year due to lower average sales prices for leaf products in South America and Africa.
The company also cited a slight decrease in volumes sold, mainly driven by the timing of shipments in North America, with the current crop largely shipped in the prior quarter.
