Qiagen names Filtration Group's Pratt as CEO; shares down

U.S.-listed shares of laboratory testing solutions provider Qiagen fell 2% to $43.31 after the company said Jonathan Pratt will take over as CEO on Sept. 1, 2026, succeeding Thierry Bernard, who will support the transition through year-end.
Pratt most recently served as CEO of Filtration Group, leading the company through its sale to Parker-Hannifin earlier this month.
Qiagen cites search process and strategy review
Qiagen said the appointment follows a comprehensive search process and reflects Pratt's experience across the life sciences and healthcare industries.
The company reiterated its third-quarter and full-year 2026 forecast and said its board continues to evaluate strategic options to create shareholder value.
Including the session's move, the stock is down about 8% year to date.
