
Quaker Houghton opened a new manufacturing facility in Zhangjiagang, China, adding die casting and grease product lines to support key industries in the Asia-Pacific region. The company also expanded its Shanghai laboratory with dedicated grease and QH FLUID INTELLIGENCE™ testing capabilities to accelerate local product development.
Quaker Houghton inaugurated a state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Zhangjiagang, China, designed to produce die casting and grease formulations locally. The facility enhances supply chain resilience and reduces lead times for steel, aluminum, automotive, beverage can, mining and wind power customers across Asia-Pacific.
The company also unveiled an upgraded laboratory in Shanghai, featuring specialized testing bays for its grease business and the QH FLUID INTELLIGENCE™ platform. These enhancements enable in-region R&D, rapid formulation trials and real-time fluid performance monitoring to meet evolving customer needs.
