Quantum Partners with Telestream to Certify DIVA on ActiveScale, Targets $67M Q3
QMCO partnered with Telestream to certify Telestream’s DIVA media-content-management software on Quantum’s ActiveScale object storage platform, aiming to expand adoption of sustainable archive solutions. The company targets Q3 revenue of $67M, supported by a $25M backlog and a recent debt restructuring that strengthens its balance sheet.
1. Quantum Expands Babine South Tenure with East Sunrise Adit Acquisition
Quantum Critical Metals Corp. has increased its land package at the Babine South Silver Project, British Columbia, to 1,108 hectares by securing the contiguous East Sunrise Adit claim. This new claim incorporates the Boling showing and brings all historical workings under 100% royalty-free ownership. The East Sunrise Adit extends approximately 56 metres into a narrow quartz-carbonate vein system and lies one kilometre east of the West Adit, potentially indicating lateral continuity of mineralization along strike.
2. Historic Sampling Reports Extraordinary Silver Grades
BC Minfile 093K 028 records grab samples of up to 835 oz/t (26,000 g/t) silver from the Silver Pit near the East Adit portal, chip samples of 1.1 oz/t (34.2 g/t) silver, and float samples returning 417 oz/t (13,000 g/t) silver. Additional float and grab samples collected above the East Sunrise portal assayed 13,000 g/t silver, 42.8 g/t gold and 6.39% lead, confirming a polymetallic epithermal system with both precious and base-metal components.
3. Geology Indicates Multi-Phase Veining and Polymetallic Potential
The Babine South area is underlain by phyllite, marble, and volcanic and igneous diorite-monzonite intrusive rocks. Four distinct veining phases cross-cut the host lithologies, with mineralization including native silver, galena, sphalerite, tetrahedrite, argentite and chalcopyrite. Historical trenching in the 1920s produced 94 kilograms of silver, while the 1991 BC Assessment Report confirmed native silver in quartz-carbonate veins, supporting an epithermal model with structural shear-zone controls.
4. Systematic Exploration Program Targets Drill-Ready Zones
Quantum plans a comprehensive 2026 field program that will include detailed geological and structural mapping to refine vein orientations, targeted surface sampling to establish grade distribution, and Induced Polarization geophysical surveys to test subsurface continuity beneath historical workings. These efforts aim to convert historical occurrences into drill-ready targets, delineate priority zones for follow-up drilling and quantify the scale and controls of the Babine South silver and polymetallic system.
