Quantum eMotion Integrates QRNG Encryption into 261-kWh Defense-Grade BESS
Quantum eMotion, SEETEL and Aegis expanded their partnership to integrate Quantum eMotion’s QRNG encryption into battery energy storage systems for defence-grade applications, covering AI data centres, utility grids and remote microgrids with plans to fulfill initial U.S. orders. The project builds on a 261-kWh plug-and-play BESS platform validated at SEETEL’s Taiwan facility.
1. Expanded Strategic Partnership
Quantum eMotion, SEETEL New Energy and Aegis Critical Energy Defence expanded their collaboration to embed quantum-secured encryption into battery energy storage systems for mission-critical applications. Executives convened in Taiwan to validate a defence-grade, quantum-safe BESS platform integrating hardware, controls and cybersecurity.
2. Quantum-Safe BESS Platform
The platform builds on an existing 261-kWh plug-and-play BESS system, incorporating Quantum eMotion’s patented Quantum Random Number Generator technology into the energy management system. This integration addresses emerging “Harvest Now, Decrypt Later” threats by embedding encryption at the hardware level.
3. Target Markets and Deployment Plans
Partners are focusing on fulfilling initial U.S. orders while pursuing opportunities in defence, AI data centre, utility-scale and remote microgrid markets across Canada and the United States. Inspections at SEETEL’s Taiwan manufacturing facility confirmed successful QRNG-secured EMS integration across multiple storage products.
4. Strategic Positioning and Outlook
Quantum eMotion’s NYSE American listing and Aegis’s presence in Canadian Indigenous procurement and NATO-aligned projects position the alliance for government and large-scale infrastructure contracts. The collaboration aims to underpin next-generation secure energy infrastructure in North America.
