QuantumScape partners with Muehlbauer on 100 MWh solid-state battery production line
QS•QuantumScape partnered with Germany’s Muehlbauer Group to develop a 100 MWh solid-state battery production line, with cell production scheduled to start in 2028. The line will target demand from AI data centers, aerospace and defense.
1. Production line plans
Muehlbauer will supply cell assembly equipment, and engineering work on higher-throughput processes and equipment is underway. The line is intended to serve demand from AI data centers, aerospace and defense.
