Quest Diagnostics Integrates Haystack MRD into OncoEMR for 4,700 Clinicians
DGX•Quest Diagnostics is integrating its Haystack MRD ctDNA test and Comprehensive Genomic Profiling services into Flatiron Health’s OncoEMR via a pilot with American Oncology Network. The integration will enable 4,700 clinicians at 1,600 sites to order tests with fewer steps and receive results within their EHR workflows.

Quest Diagnostics has launched a pilot to integrate its Haystack MRD ctDNA test and Comprehensive Genomic Profiling portfolio into Flatiron Health’s OncoEMR platform. The pilot includes American Oncology Network and other community oncology providers leveraging the OncoEMR Molecular Profiling Integration (MPI) feature for streamlined test ordering.
2. Coverage and Scale
Once fully implemented in the pilot phase, the integration will serve 4,700 clinicians across Flatiron’s network of 1,600 community-based cancer care locations. American Oncology Network contributes nearly 200 of its 350 providers across 21 states to the initial rollout.
3. Workflow Simplification Benefits
OncoEMR MPI allows providers to set up Quest service accounts faster, place orders with fewer steps and receive clear, concise results directly within the EHR. This reduces administrative burden and minimizes complexity in ordering comprehensive molecular oncology tests.
4. Strategic Outlook
Quest Diagnostics plans a nationwide launch of the OncoEMR MPI integration in the second half of the year. This move builds on prior EHR partnerships and supports the company’s strategy to expand oncology testing access and drive growth in its molecular diagnostics segment.
