Study highlights co-exposure in suspected Lyme patients
Quest Diagnostics highlighted a clinical study published in JAMA Network Open on tick-borne co-exposure in suspected Lyme patients.
Results have already been published, based on de-identified U.S. test results collected from January 2021 through December 2025.
The study found many patients with Lyme exposure also showed evidence of exposure to other tick-borne pathogens, raising missed-diagnosis risk.
