QuidelOrtho, Allo Hope to Launch Prenatal Alloimmunization Resources in Summer 2026
QDEL•QuidelOrtho and the Allo Hope Foundation announced a collaboration to co-produce educational materials for laboratory providers and families by summer 2026. The initiative aims to improve early testing, awareness and equitable care for maternal red blood cell alloimmunization to prevent hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn.

QuidelOrtho and the Allo Hope Foundation have formed a strategic partnership to improve prenatal care and education for alloimmunized pregnancies. The agreement will see both organizations jointly produce digital educational materials tailored for laboratory providers and expectant families.
2. Objectives for Maternal Care
The collaboration addresses maternal red blood cell alloimmunization, a critical condition that can lead to hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn (HDFN). Resources will focus on early testing protocols, clinician training, and patient support to close care gaps, especially in underserved communities.
3. Resource Launch Timeline
Beginning summer 2026, the partners will release a series of co-produced digital materials through their channels. These assets include guidelines for labs, informational videos for families, and tools to foster connections between laboratory providers, clinicians and patients.
