Rank One Computing reported Q1 revenue of $2.5M, down 20% year-over-year, due to reduced government R&D activity and procurement delays from the late-2025 federal funding lapse. Gross margin remained 79% while net loss widened to $3.0M, or ($0.18) per share, compared with a $0.7M loss in Q1 2025.
2. Product and Deployment Highlights
ROC Watch revenue climbed 77% and ROC ABIS revenue surged 255% as early pilots and expanded U.S. Department of War contracts totaling $1.6M boosted adoption. The company also entered the physical access control market with the ROC Access Face1 biometric reader, secured “Best in Biometrics” recognition, and initiated next-generation face forensics pilots.
3. IPO and Strategic Investments
The initial public offering generated net proceeds of approximately $21.5M, strengthening the balance sheet for scaling Vision AI deployments. Rank One Computing appointed Gary Lac as EVP of Sales and Marketing and plans disciplined investments in product development, deployment capacity, and operating infrastructure.
