Rayonier Advanced Materials delayed the conclusion of its strategic review to Q1 2027 from the fourth quarter following Temiscaming’s tariff-related idling. A 50% U.S. tariff on Canadian paperboard prompted the October 3 shutdown, and estimated ongoing carrying costs are $2 million to $3 million per month. A sale remains a key alternative.
Third-quarter 2026 adjusted EBITDA rose 30% sequentially to $52 million. The company reported a $229 million loss from continuing operations, including $221 million in noncash impairments.
