REalloys Locks 15% Phase 1 Output from Greenland Deposit, Scales Ohio Metallization
ALOY•REalloys secured a 15-year offtake deal for 15% of Phase 1 output from the Tanbreez heavy rare earth deposit, adding Saskatchewan and Montana projects as it scales Euclid metallization. China’s export curbs have slashed dysprosium and terbium shipments to under 50% of pre-restriction levels, sharpening U.S. demand for domestically processed magnets.
1. Offtake Deal for Tanbreez Deposit
REalloys signed a definitive 15-year offtake agreement for 15% of monthly Phase 1 production from the Tanbreez heavy rare earth deposit in Greenland, securing long-term access to dysprosium and terbium oxides critical for permanent magnets used in missile systems, aircraft, and radar.
2. Expansion of Euclid Metallization and Project Portfolio
The deal complements rights to up to 10% of output from the Sheep Creek deposit in Montana and control of the Hoidas Lake asset in Saskatchewan, underpinning plans to scale its Euclid, Ohio metallization facility into a leading North American heavy rare earth processing hub.
3. U.S. Supply Tightness and Defense Demand
With Chinese exports of heavy rare earths running below 50% of pre-restriction volumes, U.S. demand for domestically processed magnets is intensifying, positioning REalloys to fill critical defense supply chain gaps ahead of the Pentagon’s 2027 ban on Chinese-origin materials.
